Pre-second patch- Created By Potatomanpokemonunite.gg/tier-list/70 Pokemon Unite .GG

This is a tier list on how I feel the pokemon states are before the second update to the game which comes out on 8/18. Me putting pokemon in c tier does not mean that the pokemon is bad but rather it has defects to it that make it harder to play and make it more useless during certain parts of the game. For example, I have Talonflame in C tier because of its hp. Talonflame has massive burst damage but its hp is one of the worst in the game making it very vulnerable after completing its burst. Similar to C tier but with not so obvious problems, is why pokemon are in B-tier. For example, Gengar, despite its massive outplay potential and its strong ability to start fights and 1v5, has a kit that revolves around hitting one ability which most people, after playing the game, learn how to dodge making it a harder kit to play with. Next is A-tier, these are pokemon that I feel have no outgoing problems to their kit and are just really good in general. For example, Greninja is here because it has good pick potential and stong objective control with its surf ability that deals more damage the more a pokemon is missing hp. It is not in S-tier because it has relatively low cc and is easily picked off if not careful with its ability usage. I put Snorlax and Ninetails in S-tier dues to how impactful they are. Snorlax is just an all-around strong pokemon with heavy cc, high damage outputs, objective control and its sustain which, in my opinion, make it the strongest pokemon in the game. Ninetails is here due to the heavy teamfight impact she has. Aurora veil not only boosts her damage and her cc but actually give her allies standing in the viel, bonus resistances allowing them to take more damage in teamfights then they normally would. She also has massive amounts of aoe cc and while not having too much in the damage area compared to other attackers, makes up for it in making sure enemy pokemon can't move during the duration of a fight.

  • S: Top-tier Pokemon. These are the best Pokemon to play in general.
  • A: Great Pokemon. These are great options of Pokemon to play and can provide good synergy to your team.
  • B: Good Pokemon. While these Pokemon aren't necessarily ideal to play, they can provide certain synergies allowing them to perform well.
  • C: Okay Pokemon. These Pokemon are typically less than ideal to play.
