Essa tier foi pensada colocando os Pokémon com maior potencial de simplesmente fazer o famoso "1v9" nos tiers mais altos, segundo minhas próprias experiências jogando, não quero dizer que Pokémon em tiers mais baixos sejam ruins pois, se bem jogado, qualquer um deles carrega a partida. Porém os que estão no tier S são os que tem mais facilidade de ficar absurdamente fortes e destruir qualquer um com meros 2 ou 3 golpes. A prova de que essa tier visa os carregadores é que Pokémon como Blisssei e Mr.Mime estão no tier C, mesmo que eles sejam fortíssimos, mas em sua função, que é a de dar suporte para a equipe.
