Guide
You'll want to focus on sniping assists with a partner going into the lane with you, getting them to a higher level capable of defending you while you get your level up. Taking kills by accident isn't bad at all, and might be recommended to keep your level somewhat higher as you'll want to get level 6 as soon as you can.
Once you're level 9 and unlock your unite, try to save it for battles or, if available, use it during zapdos to secure it. CCC is surprisingly good for this if you use it early on and slam down at the last bit of health.
During bigger team fights you'll want to stay a bit towards the back but within shooting range of opponents. Aim your Pollen Puffs at your allies or at opponents who're fighting close range with an ally to heal them. You'll want to use cotton guard every now and then, and if you're low you can use Eject Button to run towards some grass to safely return to spawn for a quick heal, then return to the fight. However do keep in mind some people will try to kill you first, so atleast set up Cotton Guard and try to use your unite move if available to keep the gang alive.
Works Well With
With XP share you can assist Garchomp in getting more XP, which is huge for him due to his slow grinds. Once you've unlocked your moves you can get Garchomp to become a huge threat towards your opponents.
