Guide
Very straightforward gameplay. Pick Acrobatics first, so you can use it to get into jungle and kill the Xatu faster. Your level 5 gank is extremely underwhelming, so play it safe, don't int (intentionally feed, letting enemies kill you for free), and retreat to do your second jungle rotation ASAP to get your level 7 spike. Getting level 7 is the most important thing for Talonflame.
The moment you get Fly, your damage potential skyrockets, and if you're consistent on being able to get Attack Weight stacks, you'll quickly become any Attacker's worst nightmare. However, if you overextend or keep inting, that will rapidly snowball into you being useless for vast majority of the match, so be careful and don't be reckless.
Make sure to land your Flys, as hitting an enemy with it reduces the cooldown by 40%, meaning missing this can spell out an untimely death for our bird. When Fly lands, Talonflame automatically gains a free boosted auto attack. With a Fly > auto > Ace > auto combo, you can do a load of damage and kill off frailer mons instantly, and do sizeable amounts of damage to the beefier ones. Make sure you aren't trying to attack any Defenders specifically, especially ones that have good sustain, because that basically renders you useless. It would be more beneficial for you to farm instead of 1v1ing their Slowbro.
You can use X-Speed to either escape after completing your combo, or use it to chase down the more mobile enemies (ideally use it during Fly, since already while flying you have an increased movement speed by 65%. Combine with X-Speed, and you have a good gap-closing tool) and deal the finishing blow as need be. Careful to not chase them to their goal, though, and don't let yourself get ganged up on and killed. Letting yourself die unnecessarily is the worst possible thing you can do, especially when you are the teams designated Jungler (whose entire purpose is to stay AHEAD of the game in EXP).
Flame Sweep should be used to push enemies around as normal, (i.e. Regieleki pushes, during team fights like at Rayquaza to divide teams and displace them, etc.)
ITEMS:
Razor Claw: This item is core on Talonflame. Do NOT TAKE IT OFF. The extra damage is necessary for your combos. Additionally, the slow is great for sticking to enemies.
Attack Weight: Very important to Talonflame's gameplay, thanks to the scaling on Fly.
Curse Bangle: This one's optional. The HP recovery debuff is great for assassins, because that means that your target has a lower possibility of outhealing your burst damage.
Float Stone: A very commonly used item on Talonflame, and for good reason, since the move speed bonus stacks well with Gale Wings.
BATTLE ITEMS:
X-Speed: Lets you move even faster than before. Good for running away or catching up with fleeing enemies.
Eject Button: Lets you flee from sticky situations, especially when Fly is on cooldown. Works for the same purposes as X-Speed, except it's just an instant teleport.
Works Well With

Keeps Talonflame alive better, allowing it to have better odds of surviving potential cases where it can't quite get the KO immediately. Slow Smoke is also a useful addition for when you want to escape.
