Guide

Early Game (10:00-08:00): Focus on farm. Collect your buffs first, then observe the lanes, and collect your baltoy according to the conditions below:

If your opponent jungler is an All-Rounder/Mewtwo X or Y, go to the OPPOSITE lane than the lane they are in.

If your opponent jungler is an Attacker, go to the same lane as they are.

If your opponent jungler is a defender/supporter, go to the same lane, they are literally trolling.

Notice how I advise you to observe then go to the lane. Typically in SoloQ, your opponents will engage first if their jungler is at 8:50 Altaria. After they engage and go past the halfway point, your goalzone to the midpoint is where you are able to engage with spark and take them down with X Attack’s burst damage. Don’t try to push with Zeraora, at lvl 5 his burst is simply not enough to be fighting at the opponent’s goal zone. That is handled by pokemon like Zoroark or Urshifu. Zera sticks to his opponents and dishes out damage; he does not have mobility control over his opponents like Urshifu or Zoroark do.

Late Game (04:00-03:00): Make sure you get lvl 13 before the Rayquaza Fight. Having both + moves gives you the edge in battling. To make full use of energy amp, engage with Plasma Gale (Your unite move) first, then burst them down with X Attack. You should be able to take down virtually any enemy in the game; unless they are rocking a safeguard blissey with unite move, that is. Backdoor your opponents by engaging from the back of their formation to disrupt their strategies by eliminating their DPS dealers.

Works Well With

Wigglytuff

Disrupts opponents effectively for Zera to engage and get his KOs.

Blissey

Provides Zera with the required shields or healings to take down opponents.

Clefable

Gravity is a good way to slow opponents or opposing carries down for Zera to take a quick KO. Moonlight provides passive healing as well.
