Guide

— Intro —
Being an entry-Pokémon, Eldegoss is often overlooked and underestimated. This Pokémon's simple playstyle makes it seem weak in comparison to other supports with unique kit, but it is capable to deal good damage to enemies while also hindering them with short cooldown, making Eldegoss a force to be reckoned with in any phase of the game.

— Items —
– Held Items –
Muscle Band – Mandatory item, Eldegoss' boosted attack slows target(s) hit and deals extra SpA damage. The bonus damage from Muscle Band's passive and its' extra AtkSpe helps Eldegoss deal damage to enemies from distance via its' basic attacks.

Sp. Atk. Specs – Aggressive item, Eldegoss' boosted attack bonus damage, skill damage, shielding, and recovery are ALL tied to SpA. Increasing your SpA will help you support your whole team in many ways.

Wise Glasses - Supplemental item, as mentioned above, Eldegoss benefits from high SpA. Making Wise Glasses somewhat viable.

– Battle Item –
X Speed - Support item, helps you move around faster, which is pivotal in supporting your team.

— Moveset —
1. Leafage - As Eldegoss, your mission is to help your allies by dealing damage. Added slow from this skill helps you and your laning partner to chase an enemy.

1a. Leaf Tornado - This move has 3 functions: Dealing damage, increase allies' speed, blinding enemies normal attacks for 3 seconds (level 11), making it a versatile, all-around good move for any comp.

2a. Cotton Spore - Increases your speed for a duration, and when the duration ends, deals damage and throws any enemies around you. This move is incredibly powerful, you're basically running a dumbed-down version of Blastoise's Unite Move with low cooldown. Being Eldegoss' best source of burst damage and crowd control, you'll really want high SpA for this move to really exhibit its full potential. Use it to chase enemies, run away, and bring the fight to their first goal. Be mindful, however, that you can't goal while the duration of speed increase is active.

Unite: Cotton Cloud Crash - First phase, it renders Eldegoss invincible while flying, allowing you to move freely. Second, it deals damage to enemies around you and knocks them back, while healing allies around you as well. The utility of this skill is amazing, it allows you to be offensive and supporting at the same time. Be mindful of the knock back, however, since it could push enemies to safe areas of the map.

— Closing —
Eldegoss is simple, but full of mobility and potential. Being the only ranged Support with mobility boosting kit makes it really simple to learn, and is incredibly helpful in any situation. Enemies who underestimate Eldegoss are often KO'd without realizing that it's not the All-Rounder that deal most damage with their basic attacks.
The best support is able to KO your foes while helping your allies. No attacker/speedster/all-rounder can be the hero or MVP without an amazing support.

Works Well With

Garchomp

Leaf Tornado helps Garchomp approach their enemies. Remember that your boosted attacks also slows enemies hit, making it easy for Garchomp to chase enemy Pokémon.

Azumarill

Same as Garchomp, you'll mostly help Azumarill in chasing their targets.

Buzzwole

Same as above. In reality, Eldegoss is perfect with any comp without any significant drawbacks except being underleveled because 4 Pokémon on your team doesn't realize that a Level 9 Eldegoss is far more useful than a Level 10 Cinderace.
