Usually taken as mid role, isn't that necessary, in fact i have played only once at mid.

it's very important in the first fase to take the neutral pokemon one at time for activate it's passive, stay out of combat as marill, that thing is not durable in fight and you will be only a exp lunch.

At level 5 is where the thing begin to be interesting, you evolve and get access to whirlpool, your main source of damage. from here you can be more risky and jump in fight, remember to activate first x attack and go chase enemy with whirlpool.

for my experience azumarill it's bulky for take damage from a solo absol in early game and kill it, and in late game to kill a blissey and a tyranitar together.

important to take in mind, water pulse is your friend, keep it and use it only for chase a enemy who is trying to escape the whirlpool range, or to escape the enemy range if the fight is too much, and try always to aim the enemy for bonus effect, but in fact i usually use it as dash.

you can fight more than 1 person at time, remember that you wont get the crits, but the output damage is so insane that you can kill 2 enemy together inside the enemy goal zone, but it's always better to positioning yourself in a wayyou will get only one enemy at time in the whirlpool range

you have with this egg boi one of the most fast recharging unite on the game (2nd fastest) it takes around a minute to get it fully charged, so don't keep it and everytime seems you have a fight you can't win activate it and obliterate your enemy

that's it, in ranked i get usually the 40% damage, the recap is stay out of combat before level 5, go to take every objective solo with whirlpool, even the scary regieleki who do an embarassing amount of damage
