Guide

First we'll talk about why I'd choose these items for his build.

This is a Crustle master build you can find in pokemon unite sample set, and the whole point in to soften the enemy, finish them, or cc them for your team to set their atk or retreat.

Item 1: Atk weight help building up the damage since X-Scissor can finish off enemies very nicely, and can kill those who tries to score when you're defending.

Item 2: Weakness policy is just like atk weight but provide more uses since you're a defender. You'll be hit alot of times which would allow your atk to stack and finish off enemies, it also provide a small portion of hp but almost no difference in battle.

Item 3: Scope lens I run is for crit for more damage, this can be swapped for buddy barrier, score shield, aeos cookie, and focus band. For me, I like my self to deal more damage and finish enemies easier and also because I suck if I dont deal damage to out brawl people. Since Crustle is a defender, his hp scaling is much higher just like Blastoise so running weakness policy was enough to tank, it's not worth to slap on more hp since diminishing return will hold you back on your performance and Absol can still kill you just as easy.

Battle Item: I use full heal to not get interrupt while supporting the dps. This can be swap for eject button but since shell smash let you choose between fight or flight option, it's better to run away without interruption from full heal.

Works Well With

Aegislash

While you are cc-ing the enemy, any high damage like aegislash can deal dps and finish off the enemy, or run away if low.

Cinderace

It's fast firing basic atk can mow down enemies quickly, but they tends to retreat. Using X-Scissor cc can help him gain more damage.

Duraludon

Same this as Cinderace but more on the defending side
