Guide
Duralodon has been a tricky Pokemon for me for a whiiiiiiiiiile. I've tried Top-Lane, Jungle, and never quite liked it. Dragon Pulse didnt really work out for me, I didn't see the value in Dragon Tail.
That is, until I found out about Bottom-Lane Duralodon! A powerful, somewhat resiliant build that can use Flash Cannon to kill most things early game, and help finish off late game opponents.
And yes, I will refer to Duralodon as The Big D from now on.
In-Depth Explanations for Moves & Items:
-Metal Claw & Laser Focus:
These will let you kill some things early and even steal opponent's wild 'mons, but you want to get Flash Cannon as quick as possible.
-Flash Cannon:
High-risk, high-reward, high-fun. Flash Cannon makes The Big D inmobile, but it lets you shoot out super-powered versions of your basic attacks. It also has more range than your basic attacks, so few opponents will get away.
-Dragon Tail:
Remember 15 seconds ago when I told you that the issue with Flash Cannon is that it makes The Big D inmobile? Completely ignore that! Dragon Tail can be used to chase/escape, even while in 'Flash Cannon Mode'. It also stuns what it hits. So. Yeah.
-Revolving Ruin:
Honestly? A pretty 'alright' Unite Move. While it won't kill the entire opponent team, it can help in Zapdos/Drednaw fights to chip opponents down to low health to get finished by you or your other teammates. It also gives The Big D a speed boost for a bit, so nothing can get away. Well. Talonflame can.
NOTE: If you use Revolving Ruin and get interrupted just milliseconds before you finish the move, your Unite Move Gauge will go back to just 90%, so you can essentially get 2 Unite Moves real close together. It won't happen often. But, it might.
-Muscle Band:
Obvious choice since it also boosts Flash Cannon hits.
-Focus Band:
Allows you to survive a surprising amount of hits while escaping or defending a goal.
-Weakness Policy:
MORE damage. Pairs nicely with Focus Band.
-Eject Button:
Best item, almost always. Allows easy escapes and chases, even while in 'Flash Cannon Mode'.
