Guide

Muscle Band keeps your basic attack damage relevant by dealing %-based damage relative to your target's HP. And you will be basic attacking. A lot.

Attack Weight: I love me some stacking bonuses that come from a quick 1-Aeos point goal.

Aeos Cookie: My mama said I could have one defensive item as a treat. So, I chose the one with stacking bonuses that would grant the highest total effective HP.

Level 1: Fury Cutter first. Landing it on the same wild Pokémon ramps up its damage on the same target.

Level 4: Shell Smash. You will be primarily using this to engage, gank, stick to a target, or escape. Luckily, a 7s CD is not too long to wait. You will have your passive and Aeos Cookie to weather the storm before your next Shell Smash to either secure the takedown or flee the scene.

Level 6: X-Scissor. Stealth Rock would be better if we took Rock Tomb to lock them into the AoE, but we didn't. X-Scissor would be more consistent damage throughout the match, and a well-timed stun from displacing a target into terrain would give you ample time to wail on their mauled faces.

Level 9: Rubble Rouser, a fire-and-forget Unity Move for when you are surrounded by enemies and/or low on HP. Get your shield on and either go to town or flee the scene.

Now, get out there and win! 🦀
