Guide
When playing Garchomp there are a few important things to keep in mind. He is not super fast, but he isn’t super squishy either. You just have to be capable of closing the distance against long range opponents without being CC’d or making yourself a sitting duck.
While playing early game you want to play it safe and don’t enter any battles against other Pokémon without your teammates. After obtaining your evolution and level 6, you a want to chose Dig for two reasons
(1:) It makes for a better escape then Dragon Rush because you are invulnerable and it has no wind up.
(2:) Even though Dragon Rush is able to be combined with Dragon Claw, Dig offers both a knock up and bonus DEF and is also an AoE.
After hitting 8 and gaining Dragon Claw you are more then capable of taking on just about any Pokémon that is your level in a 1v1, but play cautiously because you don’t want to get ganked.
After hitting level 9 you are a force to be reckoned with and have the capability of not letting your prey escape by any means.
Just stick with and protect your Pokémon partner and you will be golden.
Item Choices:
Muscle Band - Gives both ATK SPD and ATK PWR with a 3% Max HP DMG bonus.
Float Stone - Gives a bit more ATK PWR but also increases mobility, which Garchomp lacks. It also enables you to switch lanes faster incase you are needed elsewhere.
Rocky Helmet - Garchomps passive states when he is struck in combat, he deals damage back to the attacker. This item just increases that by an extra 5% of their HP. It also gives you more HP and DEF so you have a much higher survival chance in 1v1 combat or a Team fight.
Thank you for viewing my build, hope it’s helpful.
