Guide

I LOVE this build. You get to sit back from a safe distance, even behind walls and terrain, and snipe the enemy team with manually-placed lightning. You are essentially never on cooldown, and it's very difficult to approach you through all the targeted damage and stuns.

Things get even crazier when you team up with a Speedster. Gengar or Talonflame each have assassin-like moves they can use to clean up your trapped targets. You lock them down, your team mates swoop in for the takedown.

If there's any downside, it's that this build isn't the best for accruing or scoring Aeos points. Instead, throw lightning at the interior Pokémon for your team to claim, then manually place your lightning in front of goal defenders to buy time for your team to score.

It's worth taking the Buddy Shield here to keep you alive during your Unite Move, as a full-power Pikachu is rather squishy otherwise.

Works Well With

Machamp

Machamp's moveset allows it to run down Pikachu's targets and do extra damage when they're stunned.

Gengar

Can blip to Pikachu's targets and assassinate them.

Crustle

Can build walls to trap Pikachu's targets, making them targets for additional lightning strikes.
