Starting off with quick attack means you can take wild pokemon quickly making this set quite viable in the jungle, then you can use your score shield to score quick goals, you could also sub buddy barrier for an attack weight if you like a more aggro playstyle, once you get power-up punch, the lanes become pretty much required.

Meteor mash can rip opposing Pokemon from their goal while power-up punch beats them to a pulp, use this to cause some chaos in the midgame, power-up punch also can be used to steal objectives or assassinate fleeing enemies especially combined with eject button to give chase, once you get bone rush, you get access to the full combo, and a new way to get around, engage, and disengage.

Enemy fleeing? use bone rush, then use it again to teleport to the bone you threw to give even more chase, you can use it to score goals as well, but mostly power-up punch is your bread and butter engager since while it's charging you take less damage, but bone rush can be used for the same purpose, once aura cannon is unlocked you have to make sure you save it for one of three things: a lane of enemies lined up well enough for it, a stealth attack where you want heavy burst (see combo list at the end for more info) or an objective that's almost complete you can steal with a long distance well timed shot. after bone rush gets its upgrade it resets the cooldown of power-up punch so you can perform this combo: power-up punch, basic attack, bone rush, teleport, power-up punch, basic attack, this combo is really the main thing you'll use late-game.

Other notes: focus band pairs with steadfast to make you very durable, and buddy barrier is well, buddy barrier, it's useful in teamfights after you nuke the lane with your unite move, other combos are: early game: quick attack behind opponent, then meteor mash to push them away, mid-game: same idea as before but replace quick attack with power-up punch, later once you get bone rush you can use: power-up punch, basic attack, bone rush, teleport, basic until power-up punch, power-up punch, basic attack, last combo example is for major burst damage where you aura cannon, eject button to close distance, power-up punch, then bone rush, and then lastly, teleport, this will deal insane damage and is great for stealth attacks, last note, make sure to use eject button for mobility as well as your moves, don't neglect one or the other, if your dying often as lucario, try to focus on mobility and disengaging.
