Guide

I will try to keep this relatively short has we still have so much to learn about this game and what the future holds. But so far based on the JPN beta this was an exciting build to play with.

EXP. Share whilst isn't the best it allowed you level up just that little bit quicker which is crucial for you to stay ahead. The extra HP boost is enough to keep you alive in those close encounters.

The other two items are self explanatory. I have chosen x-speed to really run down those enemies and make sure you get that last hit on an enemy.

When starting the match make sure to get Will-O-Wisp first to keep fending off the enemy. once you get lick you can get pull the enemy in and W-o-W them to burn the enemy.
Sludge Bomb will be your first upgrade and then the Hex, once you get that combo you should make sure to lay the Sludge bomb down behind so they walk into it. Once the enemy is poisoned make sure to Hex which the cooldown will be reduced for each poisoned target hit. Make sure you keep laying down the sludge bombs as the enemy walks/runs back.

Make sure that you can get as many enemies in your ambush as you can sludge bomb them, slow them and then hex until they are all enemies are dead.

Works Well With

Alolan Ninetales

Slows enemies, allows Gengar to get in and use Hex to its fullest abilities.

Snorlax

Knock up ensures that Gengar can get in front and lay a sludge bomb in a better position.

Eldegoss

This one needs little explanation, the support for healing and decreasing enemies movement speed.
