Your goal with Slowbro should be to move alongside an attacker or speedster with a high damage output, in the event that an opponent approaches you can lock them down with either Telekinesis, Surf, or your Unite move while your teammate hits them hard. Afterwards you push forward and perform the same on other opponents in the lane.
It’s best for this character to single out targets earlier on to get assists. In the event that the opponent is sitting in their goal zone you can use Telekinesis to pull them out, then surf backwards to shove them even farther away from their healing options. In the late game Slowbro has an incredible ability to stall multiple opponents at a time do to Surf+. Remember to always keep attacking in situations where you’re threatened as this removes damage due to your unique ability. Lastly, attempt to get Surf+ as soon as possible, this allows you to hold multiple opponents whereas Telekinesis cannot. Drednaw is incredibly helpful for Slowbro, the level boost in of itself is great but getting Surf+ early on will allow you to shut down opponents before they ever stand a chance.

Slowbro works very well with Pokémon that deal heavy damage and have good pursuit options, while Slowbro locks them down with Telekinesis, Surf, or its Unite move, your partner can come in to deal massive damage before chasing the opponent down and finishing them.
