Guide

I suggested top lane but in reality it can do whatever the team needs, including jungle if nobody else chooses to jungle for whatever reason.

I start with Fury Cutter due to it being a better damaging move then the other. Not much else to it as the other has kind of not good for damage and you want to clear your mobs fast.

For the next move I prefer Shell Smash. it gives you a lot of mobility to be able to use your position to your advantage as well as catch people low and fleeing to secure the kill. Though the other option is not bad ether and can help you catch a kill as well as set up your teammate or block a path. so you could flex this if you want. (unless you for whatever reason are the jungler in which case only choose Shell Smash).

For the next move X-Scissor is a must. its knockback can help you force an opponent to a bad position, as well as it can just deal a lot of damage, especially with shell smash up and a maxed out Attack Weight.

For my held items, first i take Muscle band, it makes your autos just better as well as the attack helps as everything Crustle uses is scaled from attack. Second I use Attack weight, after 6 times banking points it has substantially more attack then any other item. Between these 2 items and Shell Smash Crustle can do shocking damage for a Defender. For the last item its Focus Band, it just makes you much harder to kill and keeps you around much longer. I would like to note though you could also potentially swap out one of your offensive items for a Buddy Shield to make you even more incredibly bulky during Rubble Rouser as well as shield your teammate as a secondary option if you want a more defensive approach.

For Battle Item I recommend Eject Button. It just gives so much engage and disengage options that its almost a must have. Though Smoke screen could be a OK option as well to help your team escape or engage to. One thing to remember is with Eject Button you can use it during X-scissor if your last hit would miss to try to catch them, or use it to get behind them and knock them to your team if you need in order to secure a kill.

Works Well With

Alolan Ninetales

Between Crustle and Ninetails your opponent will be dealing with alot of slows and freezes along side your knockbacks and ability to chase or wall them yourself.

Gardevoir

Crustle does a good job of keeping the enemy away so Attackers can do what they do best.

Pikachu

Pikachu likes a teammate that can keep people at a distance so it can safely spam abilities.
