From my experience Greninja is able to go to any of the three lanes. Jungling you can obtain your level 7 powerspike very quickly, and your laning is not the best but you are able to survive with 2 dashes.
Bubble first as it helps you clear creeps faster.
Smokescreen IMO is much better than double team, because you become invisible and if used on top of someone else you create a blinding effect of your opponent. This allows you to escape, reposition, and allow you to dash over some walls.
When you hit lvl 7 you become very strong with surf and smokescreen. Surf allows you to last hit creeps and surprise your opponents with the reset. Surfing onto an opponent gives you easy access to your melee attacks which can be deadly.
Your Unite move is average, but if you land it it does some good damage and it allows you backline access. In a pinch you can use it to escape, but taking a death over using your ult is usually more valuable.

Buddy Barrier: Allows you to dive back lines with the shield passive and not get blown up
Another good option are Scope lens if you want more damage.

While Greninja may not be the best "hyper carry attacker" this build allows you to outplay any pokemon in a 1v1. Greninja offers a ranged attacker and an assassin all in one, so have fun 1v9ing!
