Guide
The original of this build was made before I fully understood the mechanics behind Blaziken, so it is partially inaccurate and I do not recommend it. This build is much better.
Blaziken is unique in a few different ways:
1, Blaziken has 2 different basic attacks (sort of). In kick style, the area of effect and damage is increased. In punch style, basic attack speed is increased.
2, you don't get to choose your starting moveset. It automatically starts you in kick style. However...
3, every time you use your UNITE Move, you change movesets. While in the other moveset, your other moves can still charge their cooldown. So basically, if you don't have any specials, use your UNITE Move to get more.
4, Blaziken's UNITE Move has a 5 second cooldown because it's not good otherwise.
My personal favorite style is punch style, but both are great in their own ways.
This particular build is built around the Speedster tactic of jumping in battle, using all your specials to deal big damage, and leaving as fast as possible.
Blaze Kick or Fire Punch (or Aerial Ace) can get you into battle quickly. All other moves, including the Unite Move, can be used to attack fast and hard. While in combat, Eject Button is just a way to perform some funny dodges from your opponents moves so you don't just die instantly. Lastly, after using your Unite Move, you will again have access to the dash move that got you into battle, but this time use it to escape.
On top of all this, Blaziken's Blaze ability is interesting in that when a basic attack hits, it gives the target a fire fragment. Hitting an opponent that has a fire fragment 5 times will deal additional damage and restore your HP. More HP is restored when you're at 50% or lower.
So, long story short, we need damage boosting held items to account for a high damage output strategy.
Held items here are mostly self explanatory. Attack Weight can sometimes be a bit tricky to make work, but utilizing Blaze Kick's hinderance quality will make things a bit easier, especially since that's the first 2nd stage move you can get.
Your starting move is mostly up to preference, as one has dash and the other has more damage, but Aerial Ace can dash through the initial target, which is great for those two Bunnelby lined up in the lanes.
This build mostly utilizes Blaziken's special mechanics to best deal damage and get kills. It is great at jumping in late to teamfights, although don't leave your team to die. It can also be good at defending a solo attack on a goal zone, or attacking a solo-defended goal zone.
Brown, black, and white boost emblems work best for Attack, cooldown reduction, and HP, respectively (in that order of importance). If there's space, add in some yellow boost emblems to increase out-of-combat movement speed, or blue and purple to boost defenses.
Free stats are SpA and... well, that's it actually. Just try not to lower anything too much. And if you have to pick something, lower Def and SpDef.
