Guide

Crustle is not only capable of tanking a few hits, but also can pack a strong punch. This set is primarly built to act as a Defender, but you can also hunt down Pokémon on your own, and most importantly, CC when needed.

Shell Smash is very important in this set as it is the Float Stone. This is because it grants Crustle an insane mobility for a tank, being able to overrun big distances in a short time and able to cross the jungle from top to bottom and vice versa in no time. Shell Smash also boosts Crustle's attack, so it may hit stronger with its basic attacks or Fury Cutter while you are still having it on your slot.

Stealth Rock acts a fast way to deal cheap damage and keep controlled anyone who approaches too much to you, dealing high damage in a short period and able to stay in the middle of the teamfights while poking everyone with the pebbles. It also works great with its Unite Move, mixing both makes you a true shredder of masses. But most importantly, it helps a lot to support the team in the Rotom/Dreadnaw/Zapdos' beat down, or even to help you to solo both Rotom and Drednaw. It can also work well with X-Scissor, but only if you prefer an even more aggresive version.

Buddy Barrier is another must for the walking fortress, as it provides the HP boost and also the shielding after using the Unite Move, making it even harder to take down. Weakness Policy is also a great choice if your idea is to deal the highest damage possible, since its ability and high endurance allows him to stack the effects of both Shell Smash and Weakness Policy with no issue.

Works Well With

Eldegoss

Supports such as Eldegoss and Blissey provides Crustle more durability. Eldegoss with Cotton Guard and Pollen Puff helps Crustle to stay alive and make it more endurable.

Alolan Ninetales

Alolan Ninetales' CC abilities is a blessing to Crustle. Combining with Stealth Rock, the damage of Blizzard scales higher. It can also cut the foes' pass with Avalanche to prevent them to escape or support Crustle with Aurora Veil.

Gardevoir

The same story of Alolan Ninetales. Although it takes quite a while (and a bit of carrying) to evolve into Kirlia, once it learns Psyshock, it will become one of your best partners to take down anyone who dares to approach both of you, exterting high pressure in any crowded lanes.
