Guide
In most MOBAs, support characters usually only excel at healing and shielding their allies, but are super squishy and have to stand behind their teammates. Blissey is the exception, and we can make her even tankier with this build!
With Score Shield, you want to get as many early scores as possible! No need to be afraid of enemy Pokemon, as most of them (minus hyper-early mons like Absol and Lucario) can't stop you very well. The sizeable heal it grants you afterwards also helps to escape if it gets dicey! This will help to boost your Aeos Cookie and increase your tankiness very quickly, and you will end up rivaling Defenders like Snorlax and Slowbro when it comes to survivability!
(Theoretically this could let you go into the Defender role with Blissey as well, but this will need more testing first!)
Buddy Barrier is a MUST on any protective Pokemon! Especially on Blissey, whose entire existence is focused on protecting allies with her moves. Her Unite move also takes a moment for her to reach the targeted ally, so Buddy Barrier will grant them an early shield before the main shield comes out!
The move choice is very straightforward. Don't let Safeguard's cleanse fool you, Soft-Boiled is the clear winner with its valuable heal charges which help to keep both you and your ally sustained.
The choice of Egg Bomb is purely to give you an attack other than your basic attack. You should never be by yourself as Blissey, but if you're ever called out, this'll help you to escape without needing to Eject Button out. If you trust your allies though, Helping Hand is a great alternative!
Works Well With
As with many CC Supporters, Garchomp's knockups are a huge help to coincide with Blissey's Egg Bomb.
Lucario loves to dive in with its infamously powerful Powerup Punch, but desperately wants the sustain that Blissey can provide it!
Camorant's Unite move grants it a shield, but if it can't immediately kill all opposing Pokemon, it'll need someone like Blissey to help keep it alive for the entire move duration.
This build was created in the game version of 1.2.1.3. It may contain inaccuracies in the data that is used compared to the current version of 1.12.1.5.
