Guide
This Crustle build maximizes Crustles tankiness and ability to get in and get out via Shell Smash. We are usually going top lane with this build, and aggressively going after our contested crab with Fluffy Tail. If our lane partner is getting most of the attention, we can slide over and get a quick point dump before getting back to goal. Ideally, we will be dumping small increments of point throughout the first two minutes and letting our lane partner get more of the farm. It is important to make sure we are at least level 6 before Dreadnaw. If you are level 5 you can still rotate and farm on the way down, but if this isn’t the case stay up top and farm to 6. Without Stealth Rocks we are a liability in a group fight.
Once the Dreadnaw fight begins is where we really shine. We can stay in the back lane and throw Stealth Rocks into the fray. Once a target has been isolated by your team you can Shell Smash in and help finish the job. While the team fight is going on we must keep our eye on Dreadnaw. If the opponent is working on it we wait for our window, and we pop Fluffy/ throw our rocks. If you time it right you can steal a very high percentage of the time. Because of our high mobility we can reach parts of the map much faster than other characters. If you have 30+ Points and there is a big fight going on, it’s not a bad idea to Smash over the other end and counter push.
When it comes to the fight at Zapdos you ideally want to be level 13. Level 13 will mean Stealth Rock+ and with that we can slow any enemy that tries to back peddle from the team fight. We play Zap the same way as Dread. When our goal is to steal we wait for our window, pop Fluffy and throw rocks. While we’re talking about the end game, it’s inportant to note that our Unite has synergy with Buddy Barrier and Score Shield. All 3 shields must be broken to disrupt our score. If we lose Zap or need someone to pivot off from the fight and score, we’re the best character for the job.
