Guide

Not a finished guide yet as hard to tell until official release. YouTube guide @ Tacet the Terror likely at some point.

The main focus is to score as many small goals as possible to build up HP while constantly putting pressure on bottom lane. This will cause the enemy to spend a lot of time hitting Crustle instead of other objectives. It also helps to ensure the enemy doesn't kill the bottom beach.

The main strategy consists of:
1: Quickly get any amount of points while heading to the bottom goal, the lower the better, but more than 0.
2: Score on the enemy. This will give away your presence.
3: Have the enemy chase you, deliberately getting low to keep baiting them. Use Eject Button if risk of death.
4: Heal at goal/berry.
5: Get level 4 and 6 ideally off of a wild pokemon then goal, then another wild pokemon then goal. Shell Smash should be enough to escape most situations with Eject Button always as the backup.
6: Once 6 is achieved, Eject Button can now be used offensively. Teleport into Shell Smash + X-Scissor into wall off of teleport angle to kill an enemy and then goal.
7: Continue farming small point goals as possible, ideally making as much of a scene as possible to lure out their middle ganker.
8: If 1 on 1, nearly every low hp high damage ganker should die or be forced out of the fight. If higher HP ganker or team fight without an ally, Eject Button away; otherwise stand ground and tank for the ally.
9: Steps 6-9 are repeated until Crustle is essentially invincible, making sure to get as many small goals on the first goal to keep it up for as long as possible.
10: Continue to pressure bottom lane even once the first goal is down, just keep in mind the launch pad teleport becomes available at 5 minutes.
11: At this point, essentially never back from a 1 on 1, especially if the enemy is primarily a melee physical damage dealer.
12: The goal from here is to continue the HP buildup while continuing to distract. The goal isn't to score a high amount, just to keep distracting with increased HP buildup. The value is more so in the distraction rather than the actual amount of points accumulated.
13: Save ult only for team fights or ganks on Crustle that aren't survivable without it. Keep in mind if allies are close enough that Crustle will likely survive long enough for backup to arrive. Ult into Shell Smash into X-Scissor into Eject Button can get out of nearly any situation. If it does enough damage with enough remaining durability, can just start killing and not Eject Button.
14: Final 2 minutes is just Crustle camping to the middle right of Zapados in the enemy jungle. If Zapdos isn't being contested, keep small goaling the 2nd goal of top lane. If your team is on Zapdos, get to the enemy and distract them as much as possible even if it results in death. Ideally would want them to waste all their time on Crustle so the team can secure a clean Zapdos. If the enemy team is on Zapdos, focus entirely on wall stunning as many as possible.

Works Well With

Pikachu

Can safely stay behind Crustle while having special attack damage to go with Crustle's physical damage. Also makes up for some of Crustle's mobility issues.

Eldegoss

Can cause Crustle to become silly unkillable, though can struggle as a duo in early game.

Garchomp

Viable duo if both enemies on the lane deal physical damage, as both have ways to deal with close range physical damage leaving neither as a good option for the enemy to target due to high durability recoil. Will have to rotate if special attack damage enters and stays in lane unless both already fed enough to handle it. If both enemies on lane and jungler is physical damage, should be ultra safe farming.
