No começo do game o Blastoise já tem movimentos bem interessantes, que são o Water gun e o skull bash, o skull bash é um dash que você pode usar para ir para trás do oponente, (também pode ser usado para fugir), então você já pode usar o Water gun para empurrar o adversário.
Quando você evoluí para o seu segundo estágio (no level 5), você pode pegar o Hydro pump ou o Water spout, o Hydro pump é mais interessante pois com ele você consegue estunar e empurrar pra longe o adversário, impedindo que ele pontue. No level 7 você já pode escolher entre o Surf e o rapid spin, os dois são interessantes, mas nesse combo iremos usar o Surf pois com ele podemos jogar o adversário pra longe ao mesmo tempo que damos muito dano nele.
Works Well With
O Absol precisa atacar corpo a corpo, mas o Blastoise defende a distância, e ainda pode facilmente matalo, pois o Hp e a defesa do Absol não são boas.
Mesmo acontece com Zeraora, ele ataca a corpo a corpo fazendo com que ele seja facilmente jogado e explodido pelo Blastoise.
O Gengar pode tentar usar o Hex mas o surf do Blastoise e o Hydro pump vão empurrar ele para muito longe, e também facilmente explodido.
