Guide

LOW FLOOR | LOW CEILING

**NOTE** You should defer the jungle to a Speedster or Attacker who calls it during battle prep. If noone calls it, get ready for some fun.**

Start by using Bulk-Up to rush out of spawn and head into the jungle. Clear out the entire jungle starting from the bottom, being sure to get buffs from Bouffalant and Ludicolo, and then head to the Top Lane. You should be a Machoke by the time you exit the jungle (or after defeating an extra Aipom).

Help your team clear out the enemy by targeting their weakest members first (Raltz, Gibble, support-types). Submission is the key move in your offense as you can grab a target who’ll easily get taken down by you and your allies. Score for the attack boost from the Attack Weight and then head back into the jungle to refresh buffs starting from the top.

After getting buffs, head to the bottom lane (if your team has survived and kept the goal) to help clear out enemies and prepare for Drednaw. If all goes well, you should evolve just before or after Drednaw is defeated. Now, with Submission and Close Combat, along with attack boosts from Attack Weight, you should have little trouble soloing most opponents.

Once becoming Machamp, you should try to hover around whichever lane is struggle to defend their goal—scoring is important for the build, but don’t win the battle to lose the war. With your buffs and attacks boosts, you should also be able to 1v2 your opponents by shotgunning your Unite Move (also nice for clearing enemies bursting Zapdos). If it’s a 1v1, feel free to activate your Unite Move and hold the final attack until necessary.

Works Well With

Eldegoss

Eldegoss has the potential to turn Machamp into a terrifying opponent for your enemies unaware of you coming out of the jungle. With the ability to provide shields amd health, Eldegoss can help you tank damage while you solo an opponent. The shield is also nice for preventing interferences while scoring.

Garchomp

While a Gibble is a joke, there is nothing to laugh at where Garchomp is involved—especially in a brawl. Garchomp may be one of Machamp’s hardest counters, but it is also a fantastic teammate in a scrap. Work in tandem with your partner Garchomp to push and displace your enemies in a long drawn fight.

Gardevoir

Similar to Gibble, Raltz is completely useless early on, but quickly racks up damage after evolving into Kirlia with Psyshock. Alongside your partner Kirlia/Gardevoir, you can push into your enemy’s goal area or quickly burn down Rotom/Drednaw. Play forward as your partner Gardevoir gives you cover fire and hits whomever you catch in Submission.
