Guide

Hi all,

This is my build for Cram, having played over 100 games with him in Master rank.

Whirlpool: Is probably the strongest lane move for clearing neutral pokemon and camps across the entire roster with its long duration and high damage output. Remember to walk through the whirlpool to proc your passive which makes your next basic attack a boosted one. In lane if you are getting pressured by melee characters such as Snorlax, drop your whirlpool beneath yourself and they will regret attacking you.

Hurricane: Unlocked at level 4, a much better option than Air Slash as it can disrupt multiple targets and allows you to follow up with a guaranteed hit with Whirlpool/Surf. You can use this ability to help with escapes - drop it on chasing targets which stops them in their tracks and gives you a temporary movement speed buff.

Surf: This is your highest damaging standard ability with a useful knockback. It can hit multiple targets which is a bonus. It does require some aiming so make sure you use Hurricane first to guarantee your Surf lands. This combo is one of the best in the game as it deals high damage and can shut down enemy Pokemon for a couple of seconds

Gatling Gulp Missle: The strongest unite move in the game and the reason Cramorant sees so much play. Ricocheting boosted basic attacks at enemies within its area. This ability should be reserved for team fights with strategic importance (Drednaw/Zapdos) it can also be used to force enemies away from their goal zone allowing your team to deposit points. This ability is so powerful it is the sole reason we take Energy Amp and Buddy Barrier instead of other options. Buddy Barrier will ensure you survive through your Unite move and Energy Amp will increase the damage you deal during your Unite move. One set back of this ability is that you are unable to move during it and a lots of enemies will simply eject out of your range, a hidden trick which is not known by many players is that you can eject during your Unite move which can be extremely helpful in moving your Unite ability to a new location which is more beneficial and finishing enemies who leave your area.

Eject is a must take on all Pokemon, do not consider anything else.

Wise Glasses is your biggest buff to your attack, you could replace this with Focus Band for more survivability but Cramorant is in among the highest def/sp.def/hp of ranged attackers and your role is to deal as much damage as you can and then when your abilities are on cooldown you want to retreat behind your supports/defenders until they are off cooldown.

Works Well With

Snorlax

Wigglytuff

Slowbro
