Guide

There may be other builds that look like this - hopefully this guide can help add to those other guides that follow the same build path and item build.

At lvl 1, Ralts is squishy and won't be as reliable as some other Pokémon may be for that reason. You want to use Confusion as often as you can - on creeps (wild Pokémon) and opponent Pokémon. That sounds obvious, but every second you spend without using that ability effectively means you aren't doing as much damage as you could be, which can translate to not earning experience points as fast as you can.

It is important for you to play patient and grind to level 6 as fast as you can to increase your damage output. If the opportunity to score a goal comes up or for you to turn around a fight, then definitely do so! However, you want to avoid overextending. You should stay towards the back and avoid taking any damage.

Scoring means increasing your special attack because of the Special Attack Specs (Sp. Atk. Specs). This is permanent for the match and will happen regardless of how many points you score at any time. The idea is to score as often as possible - so keeping your points below 10 and scoring little amounts can snowball in a great way. Use Teleport and the Eject Button to retreat.
(Side Note: Your next basic attack after using Teleport will deal increased damage - which can be great for getting that last hit on an opponent with low health!)

At level 6, you evolve to Kirlia. This means you should shift you strategy. because you also gain a new move - Future Sight. There is a slight delay to cast this move, so try to predict where opponents will be in the next second or 2.

Having Future Sight means you'll be more effective in team-fights now that both of your abilities cause damage. This also means you should be ready to go take out Drednaw with (preferably) 2 other teammates - 1 to keep away other opponents should they come near and 1 to help you finish off Drednaw quickly.

Regardless whether you succeed in gaining extra XP from Drednaw - getting level 8 should be a constant priority to become the most effective attacker thanks to Moonblast.

Stun your opponent with Moonblast first, then follow up with Future Sight immediately and you're sure to land your attacks to lower Future Sight's cooldown. We need to emphasize on landing your attacks because it can also heal you thanks to Shell Bell.

Hopefully by now you have a few kills that boosted your XP over your opponents and have scored a few times to really increase your power.

Alternatively, use "Goal Getter" if you are struggling to land goals. You will still snowball if you can manage to score a few goals. Being the first to score a goal can put pressure on your opponent, but it also gives you XP, health, and increases your special attack.

Snowball your damage by scoring a lot earlier in the game, but remember your overall role as an attacker and to stay alive and keep your distance!
