Bonus Attack Damage On Hit

Guide

This build focuses on playing a very offensive Snorlax playstyle, able to tank hits decently and steamroll opponents.

First Pick - Tackle
Start with Tackle for a great chasing tool that gives you an empowered body slam to slow opponents.

Move 1 - Flail
The utility of Heavy Slam makes it an all-around great move with amazing crowd control, but can be very weak when fighting solo. Flail lets Snorlax tank damage and dish it back out. With this more offensive lax, you want to rush into fights and take the opponent's attention away from your teammates. The movement bonus allows you to chase opponents easier.

Move 2 - Yawn
While Block is really good team support, Yawn is able to secure kills and clear lanes. Yawn opens up the opponents for free combos as it locks them in place unable to act. You can chase them down with Flail and Yawn them for easy kills.

NEW Held Items
The mobile release gave us some new items to play around with, one Item in particular peaked my interest:

- Weakness Policy
this item works perfectly with this build as your whole gameplan revolves around being a damage sponge, you'll have full stacks pretty consistently. Unfortunately, Rocky Helmet gets entirely outclassed now, the bonus Def is nice, but the passive never procs. Hopefully we'll see it get buffed at some point but stick with Weakness for now.

- Muscle Band
Nice extra damage for your Flail and attack speed to make full use of your Weakness stacks.

- Focus Band
A bit more sustain for teamfights is always nice.

Battle Item

I've been running Eject recently for engages/disengages and it's what I'll be sticking with for now. Potion is a decent choice if you want more survivability. Full Heal would be worth trying out as well.

Build was based on RossBoomsocks' "Mathematically Correct Snorlax" vid.

Works Well With

Alolan Ninetales

All ranged pokemon work well with this Snorlax, but Ninetales works exceptionally well due to its freeze/slow making it harder for opponents to get away.

Eldegoss

Eldegoss lets Snorlax keep the offense up and barely take any damage.

Blissey

Machine gun.
