Guide

You can play Absol in any lane but ideally you would want to be in the jungle and defeat the mobs in this order:
Lillipup -> Ludicolo -> Bouffalant -> and 2 Corphish so you can get to level 5 and learn Night Slash.
Always be on the lookout for opportunities to help your teammates by ganking enemy players but make sure to always be at least 1 level ahead of your enemies. Your main focus is farming and preventing the enemy team from claiming objectives.
Keep in mind some Absol is not bulky and you should not try to 2v1 opponents.
Remember to use eject button and Night Slash to escape unfavorable situations.
If you and your teammates manage to clear the lane of enemy players, then make sure to score right away. Scoring while holding less points is faster and less risky. Moreover scoring will heal you a bit so you can continue to farm.
If there is a lane that's not doing well, make sure to support that lane and give your teammates time to head back to base to heal.
Once you reach level 7 you will learn Sucker Punch.
Sucker Punch is great for knocking enemies out of their scoring zone or stunning them during a team fight. I find that sucker punch works great against Gengar and Alolan Ninetales.
Farm all the mobs you can find until you get to level 9 and unlock your UNITE attack.
As soon as your UNITE attack is available, look at the map and try to find a ganking opportunity. Ideally with your teammates help.

Use your UNITE even if it's just 1v1 as long as you make sure to have it ready for Zapdos at 2 minutes left.
Be careful not to get CCed while trying to use your UNITE attack. Watch out for Alolan Ninetales and Slowbro especially as they can interrupt your attack from range.
Do not kill Drednaw if there is less than 3 minutes left in the match.
Zapdos appears at 2 minutes left.
If your team is already ahead on scoring just focus on defense and do not attempt Zapdos.
Otherwise, if Zapdos is uncontested, you and 1 teammate should be enough to defeat it. Use your unite attack at the start and the increased damage will help you down it.
If the other team is already fighting Zapdos, attempt to use your UNITE move to steal the last hit on Zapdos.
If you pull this off with your teammates surviving Zapdos team fight the game should be yours.

Other Viable Held Items:
Attack Weights, Float Stone, Energy Amplifier, and Score Shield
