Guide
Talonflame is a Pokémon that I bought because it was very similar to my previous main Dodrio, but was cheaper.
And now, look at me, I'm a Talonflame main!
Your first pick is Acrobatics so you can immediately teleport behind the Xatu/Lillipup's back and kill it. Frankly, if you're NOT doing this when you're playing as a Jungler, why even play at all?
I normally go immediately for Escavalier/Ludicolo, but I'm just a Great Rank trainer, maybe I'm wasting my Jungle buffs, idk.
After you evolve into Fletchinder, Flame Charge allows you to be a little bit more silly with your tactics by giving you a speed boost instead of a damage boost like Aerial Ace does.
At this point in the match, I usually go steal the other team's Jungle, 'cause... what are they gonna do, call the Jungle police?
After getting charged with Jungle Stealing and being sent to Unite Jail, you probably will evolve into Talonflame.
Brave Bird is a little more aggressive in its usage and does more damage than Fly, but it does have the downsides of being more easily missable and the self-damage.
With your moveset being complete, it is the time of the match to go score.
Although there have been moments where I've been able to pull off a cheeky Fletchinder score...
Attack Weight allows Talonflame to snowball to the Distortion World with its damage by doing the thing that you're supposed to be doing anyway. If it weren't for this item, I would have lost many, many 1v1's.
Muscle Band works with Brave Bird's range to surprise some unfortunate soul who stands in the path of victory.
Float Stone is a classic, just there to give you extra mobility while moving to something like Regieleki or Rotom.
And finally, Eject Button is just here to round things up and give Talonflame a panic option.
I really hope you enjoyed this build, and that your path from little virgin Fletchling to big chad Talonflame goes well, traveler.
