Did someone pick your favorite Pokemon? Did everyone else pick Attackers they don't know how to play? Here's my shortlist of Pokemon I take into battle when I can't rely on my team mates.
Every one of these can be built for damage or CC, different from their standard build paths. More importantly, if I'm stuck in a solo lane I can take all the EXP and just defend between pot-shots at the opposing score zone to increase my base stats. By the end of the match, and especially equipped with at least one HP item, I'm nearly unkillable while I CC the enemy into frustrated submission. These off-meta picks have saved otherwise un-savable team comps for me several times, and it's always fun to watch the other team get REALLY angry that the lone laning Snorlax just won't die.
This tier list was created in the game version of 1.1.1.4. Rankings may be inaccurate when compared to the current version of 1.12.1.5.
