Guide

Early Game: (Low Aggression) As Rowlett it's probably best you stick to trying to just secure that center farm in lane and the 2 others closest to your goal. You start off with Leafage* to use as a last hit on wild PKMN. Astonish is a good slow maneuver but hardly makes just Rowlett a threat. It's tough to juggle Rowlett's boosted attacks so look to engage opponents during exp. farming while you're naturally building it up. Rowlett is very easy to KO so look for openings your lane partner creates. Don't be the initiator.

Mid-Late Game: (Low Aggression) Now hitting lvl. 7 you obtain your Spirit Shackle*. Our Choice Specs* and Wise Glasses* are tailored in specifically for this move. The Decidueye line also has a passive ability that gives a 20% damage increase to distant enemies. Which is exactly who you're going to be aiming for all match. Because Spirit Shackle* has such long range you're granted the ability to sit behind your teammates and snipe enemies for big chunks of damage. Spirit Shackle* can hit multiple foes, allows mobility, can holster up to 3 arrows and has a charge meter for increased damage along with the stitching aspect that can stun. Constantly look at your mini-map and realize when an opponent enters your line of sight, you should always have an arrow charging and ready to fire in their direction. Sometimes it's more efficient to cancel and get the enemy guessing when you'll shoot or not. Position yourself in bushes, behind walls, continuously send your arrows into groups, look to steal exp. from range. This build can really harass people with just Spirit Shackle* alone, but you also have this great escape tool within Leaf Storm*. The PKMN who love to dive on you depend on being within melee range. Leaf Storm* will shove them backwards, slowing and dealing damage. Giving you a chance to escape or charge one last arrow to finish them off. Buddy Barrier* is really only equipped to deter enemies from wanting to dive on you while locked in position. It gives a decent HP boost as well as shields to Decidueye and an ally when the move is used so it can be helpful.

Zapdos Tip: Don't be afraid to use your Unite move the second PKMN start fighting, it's better utilized to shred enemy HP. I only recommend using on Zapdos if you absolutely need damage started on it. Otherwise use it early and look to snipe enemies or steal with Spirit Shackle*.

Works Well With

Machamp

Machamp has scary damage and mobility, one good snipe can open an opportunity for it.

Venusaur

Venusaur is excellent at pressuring enemies and often provides you with chances to snipe at low HP PKMN.

Wigglytuff

Wigglytuff basically holds them in place for you to hurt.
