Guide

The goal with this lovely monster is to rack up as many scores as possible in order to become a bulky, unkillable, horrifying, monstrous tank come late game through the use of the Aeos Cookie. Buddy Barrier and Score Shield provide scoring cover and offensive/medical support for friends to make this happen. Sing is used as either a getaway tool or a free score. Double Slap and Dazzling Gleam are interchangeable tbh. Slow Smoke is also used for ambushes and getaways, it’s like a second Sing.

My usual strategy:

-Always start bottom lane, even if you're needed up top.

-Use the Audino surplus down south to quickly hit level 4.

-Slow smoke your way in for a quick goal, sing your way out to safety.

-Ambush from bushes, especially prioritize picking off attackers and speedsters since Wigglytuff dominates all of them and your teammates likely won't enjoy their presence nearly as much.

Quick tip:

-Always, ALWAYS go Dazzling Gleam should you ever find yourself in a Wigglytuff ditto. Cute Charm cancels out Double Slap constantly.

Works Well With

Decidueye

Decidueye complements Wigglytuff like no other. His range and coverage cover Wigg’s low range, while Wiggs can be the shield to Decidueye’s sword! With Sing and the Cute Charm ability, aggressors and ambushes aren’t too big of a problem for Decidueye, he just lets those frail foes talk to the big pink bodyguard behind them. They make for the Perfect offensive and defensive duo! This pair can rule either path with no issues with proper coordination!

Greninja

Greninja is a fast-paced Pokémon, but we all already knew that. What you probably didn’t know was how well Wigglytuff backs Greninja up with raw bulk and crowd-control capabilities! Cute Charm guarantees that Greninja keeps a cozy distance so that his glass-cannon status isn’t exploited, and we haven’t even brought up Sing! TLDR
: be thankful that Greninja himself doesn’t have Sing.

Eldegoss

This is an unusual case, but a strong one to present! Usually, Wigglytuff plays backup for others, but Wigglytuff takes center-stage with this strategy! Eldegoss turns Wigglytuff into a blatant All-Rounder by playing doctor for Wiggs. With Eldegoss healing you whenever and the added bonus of the Aeos Cookies from scoring, Wigglytuff gives the laws of aging the middle finger and becomes immortal and indestructible. Have fun commanding the bottom path, you two!
