How to Play Snorlax
Supporting the Attacker is Top Priority

Snorlax is a Pokemon that acts with Attackers and is devoted to supporting them. If an allied Attacker is getting hit by opponents, Snorlax will peel off the enemies by jumping in-between them and acting as a shield. Additionally, when it's time for the allied offense, Snorlax can act as a disabler and secondary firepower.

It's important to note that Snorlax himself has low damage, so it's difficult to beat opponents alone. Work with allied Attackers to defeat opponents! There is no point where Snorlax gets enough damage to beat others on his own, so you'll have to rely on them the whole game.

Hunt Wild Pokemon Until Level 5

Snorlax does not have viable offensive options until Level 5, so keep hunting wild Pokemon to level up. Whether you choose Top or Bottom lane, you can hunt wild Pokemon while defending your goal. Work with attackers to defeat opponents and score goals before you reach level 5.

Use Eject Button + Tackle for Early Surprise Kills
Snorlax can use Eject Button in the middle of his Tackle animation. Use this to surprise enemies with low HP for a surprise kill during the early game.

Use Block to Wall-Off Opponents

Aside from the defensive plays, Block is also great for pushing opponents away from goal zones to allow your allies to score uninterrupted. It also helps that Snorlax's defense is drastically increased and becomes immune to crowd control during the move. Make sure to keep advancing once you activated block as it stuns the opponent momentarily every time they are hit with the wall.

Chase Fleeing enemies with Heavy Slam

Take advantage of Heavy Slams reach to initiate fights or chase down retreating opponents. Once hit, the opponent will be incapacitated and open for attacks, allowing for easy knockdowns.

Use Unite Move to Defend Goals

It is recommended to use Snorlax's Unite move to essentially make allied goal zones heavily protected. When Power Nap is activated, it deals a lot of sustained damage over a long period while recovering Snorlax's HP. You can use it to buy time and survive even when attacked by multiple opponents.

However, this normally does not have enough firepower to defeat opponents, so expect to use this move only to stop enemies from scoring as well as buy time for your allies to join the fight.

Snorlax Combos

Disabling Combo

Heavy Slam ► Yawn
Use Heavy Slam to knock grouped-up enemies airborne as well as reposition yourself closer for you to use Yawn and put them to sleep.

Blocker Combo

Heavy Slam ► Block

Heavy Slam, aside from the airborne aspect, is also a great repositioning tool, so use it to place yourself in the middle of a fight then use Block while moving towards your opponents to protect your team.

Heavy Slam
(Lv. 6)
Upgrade Lv. 12 Move Type: Dash
Damage Type: Physical
Cooldown: 7s
Total Damage: 899 (Lv. 6) / 1717 (Lv. 15)

Jump into the air and slam hard into the ground. Damages the opponent's Pokemon within range, knocks them airborne, and stuns them for 1 second.

Block
(Lv. 8)
Upgrade Lv. 14 Move Type: Hindrance
Damage Type: Status
Cooldown: 11s

Gives Snorlax a shield and creates a wall that Moves wherever he goes. Enemies that collide with the wall are knocked back and stunned.
Upgrade: Reduces damage taken while this Move is in use.

I also think that potion will run great on this build too if you want.

Works Well With

Alolan Ninetales

Can setup Alolan Ninetale's moves

Snorlax by itself can not deal much damage but can help the team deal damage. One teammate that can benefit from being with Snorlax is Alolan Ninetales. Snorlax can disable enemies and set up Ninetales to do their high damaging combo.

Cramorant

Can protect Cramorant when using Unite move

Another Pokemon with high damage but no defense is Cramorant. Snorlax can protect Cramorant while it uses one of the most damaging Unite moves with Block and Heavy Slam.

Eldegoss

Can keep Snorlax alive for longer

Snorlax is already one of the hardest to knock out Pokemon in the game, with Eldegoss by its side, Snorlax will be an unstoppable Juggernaut. It will take a lot of damage to bring Snorlax low, and with Eldegoss' heal and shields, it'll take even more damage.
