Guide
Item Explanation: Slick Spoon and Choice Specs are good for burst damage and securing kills on fleeing enemies. You can burst a few times in combat, and due to the nature of Choice Specs' cooldown and damage output, opponents are less likely to run from you. Then, all of a sudden, they realize it's too late because your upfront damage is strong. At this point, they choose to fight you. While they engage, your damage might seem low. Then, you begin bursting them again, and they can't kill you because you're tanking with Amnesia. Additionally, they cannot heal sufficiently to outpace your damage due to the Curse Incense. In my opinion, it's a very strong combination.
Everyone seems to be running Eject Button in my matches, so I use Slow Smoke. It's surprisingly effective for catch and peel. If you know how to position it to be the most inconvenient for enemy 'mons, then it becomes an invaluable tool that is severely underrated. For example, if your teammate has low HP and is being chased, place Slow Smoke against a wall and in their path. This forces the enemy to take the longest route. I can't tell you how many times I've seen an enemy use their Eject Button into my Slow Smoke, then rage chase them into our goal and get KO'd.
You can also use it to gank lanes for overextended enemy 'mons. Walk behind them and use Scald. When they try to run, place smoke in their path, which will either force them into your team to dodge it or result in them getting KO'd while trying to run through it. Please note whether they have X Speed or not, as this will nullify the smoke's effect. However, you can also use it to force them to burn their X Speed at an inconvenient time.
Furthermore, Slow Smoke is very effective during Rayquaza fights, as opponents often try to funnel in at the last second to compete for the last hit. You can stall them by placing it in a spot that will inconvenience them. However, it does not do much to stop people from sniping over the wall. That's someone else's problem XD
This is not an experience share build. This is a carry defender build.
How to play this. You want to try and steal camps early with water gun from the enemy. You don't want to over commit on this Mon though. He's very easy to punish early if you mis position. I have struggles vs things like Mr. Mime, Mew two, and mew due to the nature of their ability to punish me for over extending. They will either just cc me from being able to get back to my goal, or just attack me all the way down the lane from a million range for no reason. You don't really become a Mon until level 4 where you unlock scald.
Combo: amnesia first into scald or Amnesia into your Unite move. The amount of healing you get from these two is kinda ridiculous. Especially your Amnesia Slowbeam combo. Your main slowbeam targets will be Healing supports or squishy back liners.
As for your Boost emblems just go with recommended health ones, or build your own custom health ones.
