Guide
Eldegoss thrives in an environment where it can be paired with a Pokémon that is high attack, since Eldegoss takes care of healing and sustain during early, mid, and late game combat.
Eldegoss has good damage level 1 with Leafage. This (1) helps clear Aipoms, (2) allows you to get to lane faster, and (3) gives a good damage spam during the early laning phase. These three in combination allow you to contest the enemy Audino and begin harassing them and causing them havoc.
Synthesis at level 3 comes in when you are being aggressive, allowing you and your lane partner to keep up the harassment. Creeps don’t do damage but the enemy team will. No need to skill this level 1.
Leaf Tornado at level 4 amplifies the harass damage, while also boosting team speed to close the gap in order to close out kills. This move also later gets buffed at level 11 to decrease the accuracy of enemy moves. Pollen Puff isn’t required for more sustain, and the extra damage really helps a lot.
Cotton Guard at level 6 is really what makes Eldegoss as strong as it is. Since the move can be stacked and has a base cool down of 7 seconds, which gets reduced by the two held items, multiple shields can be applied to everyone before an engagement. This extra additional health allows damage dealers to be more confident than the opponent, since they can’t be instantly bursted down.
